Angus Voice has been operating since April 2015, building the skills and confidence of people in Angus who have experience of mental health problems. The project has been commissioned by Angus Council and aims to support people with mental health problems have a better level of involvement in services that affect them.
It is a well-respected initiative that is now a fledgling SCIO in its own right. There has been a full time member of staff in post since that time. Due to the maturing of the project, we have decided to restructure this post as a job share to diversify the capacity and skill set we have and to provide better peer support within the very small team.
In particular we are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, an efficient organiser and who can help us build practical systems that will invest in the effectiveness of the project as it grows.
