Values and Principles

Core Values

At the heart of Community Enterprise, our core values influence all our decisions and should reflect the way we work together as a team as well as in our provision of services.

1.  Community

We value the word community in our title and endeavour to support trading that makes a difference on a local level.

2. Enterprise

Though using a community development approach, we will only support groups where sustainability through trading is the focus of the work.

3. Empowerment

We will encourage people to take responsibility for the development of their idea and support them to make the necessary changes. Ultimately we aim to make impact but also create and enhance capacity.

4. Quality

We will provide professional services which exceed our clients’ and beneficiaries expectations.

5. Inspiration

We will always look further than what is possible to ensure we are truly inspirational. We believe social enterprise is one of many tools and is a means to an end. That vision may mean taking risks. 

6. Relationship

We will commit to working with organisations, within the resources we have, for as long as they need it and at the level and pace they need it.
